My wife and I were so absolutely thrilled after our experience using At Home Restorations, that I wanted to type this letter for other potential customers to read. Knowing that other homeowners had a great experience working with At Home Restorations is what gave us the confidence to go with them. I want to give you the same level of confidence that we were given by other satisfied customers, so that you make the same smart choice we did in choosing At Home Restorations.
Personally, I’m always skeptical of contractors. I always feel like I’m going to get shafted (my wife says it’s a character flaw….I say it’s just playing it safe). I also hate signing contracts, especially when it involves projects that are as big as re-siding and re-roofing the house. The entire process was foreign to me, so I was hesitant about entering into any type of agreement.
After my first conversation with At Home Restorations Sales Manager Rick Hooper, all of my concerns were put to rest. Rick is one of the most friendly people I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with. He walked me through the contract point by point, and allowed me to add any and all amendments to the contract that I wanted. He said many times, “you can add whatever you want to the contract, I just want you to be comfortable with everything.” To me, that was a huge sign of trust. The fact that Rick was flexible with his own contract, allowing me to make edits and additions as I felt necessary, told me that he wasn’t out to “shaft me.” Instead, he was out to make a good name for himself and his business in the community by doing great work and giving outstanding customer service.
Speaking of workmanship, I found that the level of workmanship and attention to detail his crews gave to the work on our house was just as outstanding as their customer service. The crews did an amazing job on our siding and roofing. They did the work efficiently, never cut any corners, and always made any adjustments that I asked them to make. Rick was personally at the house everyday to observe the progress of his crews and to ensure the high level of quality he demands.
Needless to say, our new siding and roofing look amazing! So amazing in fact, that at least seven other homes on our block are currently having siding and/or roofing work done by At Home Restorations at this very moment.
